Kate McGray coaches Dutch Kickboxing, Strength and Conditioning, and Nutrition. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM CPT, 2012), a StrongFirst Level 1 certified kettlebell instructor (SFG 1, 2015), and is certified in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS, 2012). She is also certified through Precision Nutrition (Pn1, 2016) and uses their habit based methodology of coaching with her nutrition clients. Training in combat sports since 2006 she has fought professional Muay Thai and MMA bouts in the United States, Canada, and Thailand. In 2013 she received her blue belt in Jiu Jitsu. She has competed and won medals in powerlifting at the state and national level. Kate loves to train. It encourages physical, mental, and spiritual well being. Plus day to day life is easier when you are strong. As a coach she pushes herself to always be learning, and thrives as a student. She believes in training the whole person. Quality movement, mindset, and consistency are all part of the equation. Programs are customized to each individual student’s goals and interests. She is observant, patient, diligent and direct in her coaching. She is a technical enthusiast and cultivates in her students a love for training.
